Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
They MUST also have prior manufacturing accounting experience! Coordinate the development of the plant annual operating budgets and product standard costs.
Process monthly closing, update & consolidate monthly statistical accounts and budgets.
Maintain standard costs, consolidate & reconcile plant inventories.
Perform month-end closing activities.
Prepare monthly Account Reconciliations.
Receive invoices & assist AP matching with payroll to keep expenses up-to-date.
Prepare existing weekly hours report and scrap reports to help aid plant management.
Develop new or modify existing reports where appropriate.
Serve as a backup to the payroll department.
Investigate variances and recommend corrective action where appropriate.
Compile and review cost information for the preparation of operating budgets.
